Hands On Engineering

The Wichita Branch of ASCE is partnering with Wichita's Advanced Learning Library to host hands-on engineering demonstrations for local youth on the first Saturday of each month during the school year from 10:30 to 11:30. Children learn interactively about structures, water, building materials, or whatever engineering related concepts the volunteer of the month is passionate about. Past-President Daniel Schrant began this program in the fall of 2018.

The hands-on engineering events are re-starting on September 3, 2022, following a couple years off due to social distancing restrictions.
